BBL Playoffs: Matchups

The 8 teams in the BBL playoffs has been confirmed with the Bristol Flyers beating the Surrey Scorchers to clinch the final playoff spot and ending with a better record than Surrey to leapfrog them into 7th place.

This means that the Plymouth Raiders have spectacularly failed to reach the playoffs as their season imploded in the final weeks, failing to win any of their last 5 games before Sunday.

THE MATCHUPS

Leicester Riders (1) vs Surrey Scorchers (8)

 

Newcastle Eagles (2) vs Bristol Flyers (7)

 

Glasgow Rocks (3) vs London Lions (6)

 

Sheffield Sharks (4) vs Worcester Wolves (5)

 

The ties will be played over two legs, with an aggregate score being the determining factor in who progresses. All 8 sides will have one focus, to read the BBL Final in the o2 Arena on Sunday 14th May.
