England Team: Butland/Trippier, Keane, Maguire, Stones, Cresswell/ Winks, Henderson, Alli/ Rashford, Kane.

England put out a mixed team, which some will consider good (‘It’s a chance to try some new blood’) and some will consider bad (‘The first team needs to gel’). Regardless of the result England are through to Russia 2018. Looks like it’ll be a 5-3-2 with Trippier and Cresswell providing the width and an inexperienced back three of Stones, Maguire, and Keane. Harry Winks and Harry Maguire make their senior team debuts as England make 7 changes to the team that beat Slovenia on Thursday.  Kane and Rashford lead the line for England. Jordan Henderson will run about a lot. Hopefully it’s an improvement of Thursday’s performance.
