The return of NBA and NBA G-League basketball just got a little bit closer with the official schedule of the G-League being released.

The Boston Celtics’ G-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws had an excellent season last time out, winning the Atlantic division and making it to the Playoff semi finals, going down 2-0 to eventual G-League champs the Raptors-905s.

The Red Claws was home to Celtics prospect Abdel Nader last season as he took home G-League Rookie of the Year honours as well as Guerschon Yabusele who the Celtics hope will make a step up to the NBA this term.

Maine opens the season with a two game home stand on Friday 3rd November vs Delaware and then on Sunday 5th November against Erie. The following Friday the 10th the Red Claws go away to Erie before returning home to host Canton on the 12th and Grand Rapids on 16th before another a road trip to Wisconsin on the 18th.
